I recently applied for a law enforcement job that incorporated a written test in the application process. It was suggested to me that I read Stephen R. Covey's book called "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". Initially I found it interesting and informative, I learned some lessons from Mr.Covey that I try to apply in my everyday life so it was worth the money spent. The book turned into dry reading after about the "Habit 6" portion of the book. I think it was the graphs and schematics on synergy that lost my interest. Overall I would recommend this for easy reading with the understanding that this book is geared towards executive types and not the A+++ types found on this forum
