The area around Sultan Ahmat Square is great for seeing the tourist sights. That whole district is full of hotels and hostels catering to Western tourists. You WILL be badgered by locals selling trinkets and such.Other than the buildings, i hated it there.

The upside is there are many young lasses there (Western) the downside is exactly that, that it caters to tourists.

Another thing, a cab from the airport was quite expensive, there are other options, but took a cab. BACk to the airport however, i took a shared mini-bus from a locla tourist office in the aforementioned tourist area and it cost less than a third of the cab.

You 'll see signs for airport transfer's etc. as you walk around that area.

Awesome thank you! I think the place I am staying has a airport thing, I am going to find out ahead on the price. So that way they dont try to fuck me over.
