seattletimes.nwsource....cation=rss

Ran across this article the other day. I'm not an EP guy, but I thought this was interesting. Has anyone noticed an uptick in business as a result of the economic downturn in the U.S.?

I thought there would be, but no one wants to spend the money.

Security is always a red-ink proposition. Until the crap hits the fan, that is.

The combination of heightened threat and tigher belts is spelling out more demand, less budget.

Perhaps, but it's the upper echelons of the EP pay scale that are having to take less or be replaced. I don't support this at all, but it is what it is.

Where I see this also is where a client would use a larger details, they're now using less bodies and generally watching where the money goes much closer.

I guess the Clients must feel their Ass is worth less.

over the last 2 yrs weve had multiple incidents where a clients wants "needs" some sort of protection and when they hear the price its a no go. sometimes negotiations are possible but not always. but hey you get what you pay for.
