Take the paramedic course. Do you have 3 years as a operational medic? If so there will be WPPS medic jobs available in a year.

I might have to look into that oil rig job.

Thanks for everyones help... I'm looking for an EMT-B job to get myself through paramedic school, luckily the paramedic school is VA approved so the GI bill's getting used. I'll be popping up to the Sig Sauer Acedemy and/or Trojan just south of me to take as many courses as possible while I'm in paramedic school.

Just a FYI - Indiana no longer recognizes the EMT-I. They will officially vote it out sometime this year. From the looks of it, they're following suite of most other States.
