I came across this just now......looks like the Army's boot camp in now going to be a summer camp. Shit I am more proud than ever to be a Marine.

Now please hold your laughter, being a resident Air Force (Chair Force) dude, it was 95 percent mental and 45 percent physical. The wash out rate was pretty high because they hurt fragile sensibilities. I am sure that the other services especially Army and Marine you just looked at the DI funny you were being smoked. If you were not being smoked you were being cussed out. I work at Fort Sam (Scam, Sham) Houston, these fuck bags has no respect for authority. We are too worried about their psyche and their feelings. I grew up an Army Brat and went through Army JROTC and I was yelled at more times. Mentoring, Coaching? A soldier craves not these things

Wow...all you can eat in the chow hall???...WTF... When I enlisted in 1989 we were only allowed take the entree and veggies and to drink water or milk everything else was commie food and would make you weak. I was a skinny guy when I enlisted so I had to stand at the font of the chow line as the DI would pull food off the bubble butts trays and put it on mine. Half of those guys starved. We were not allowed to say a word and when the whistle blew you were done...period! 8hrs of sleep so is there no more fire guard or CQ or midnight PT? Not yelling...I can't even imagine that.
