Your plan is somewhat of a rough draft, but that's ok man. We all initially upon our epiphonies tend to fantasize a bit. Nothing wrong with an imagination, "Imagination is more important than knowledge" Albert Einstein. The imagination is best utilized once fantasy has been honed by practically. No mistake about it, if Rainbow Six was an actual team, thousands would try to get on it.

The most successful CEOs are not do it yourself types. They bring in professionals to advise. Read what everyone is saying, separate the nay-saying from the constructive criticsm. I say spend a year or two to do intense research. The administrators and moderators on this site are the "professionals" I mentioned above.

Sir Richard Branson was called a long haired, bare footed hippie, and was laughed at when he said "One of these days, I'm going to fly people to space". People were positive he'd fail. Imagine the liability in that venture. Look what Branson is doing now though! And of course the feds have been trying to intervene because they feel threatened and want to control everything.

In closing I say, do your research, seek guidance, cross your T's, dot your I's, then go for it. Only way to truly know if it will work or not is to take action and reflect.

Thanks ksleo. I understand that I kinda...no I actually stepped back in my own here. Let me say one more time...Im in no way pitching an idea to anyone, I was just talking to a few other officers in my area about policy that one dept. in particular has stating that no patrolmen are to make entry into a known hostage situation....or an active shooter situation without prior approval from the supervisor, or by request to back up another dept. We got to bitching and moaning about stupid policies and prodedures and the what if question came up about a daycare being taken over and kids lives being threatened or taken and how long would it take to get the sit. resolved.

We all started speculating about such a team and I decided to bring the question to my peers on the fourm here.

Sorry if I misrepresented myself guys or jumped in over my head. This was meant to be a thread to play out some ideas that may have ran across the minds of some other officers here.

If you guys want to continue the thread and see what ideas can sprout from the disscussion then Ill take my spanking and continue on. If not Ill shut my pie hole and....take my spanking...Cause everyone likes a good spanking now and then...lol.
