They are identical to the 37 of old, all steel no plastic or alloy in the receiver, well made they only have a single action bar but try as I might I never got it to bind even trying to but again its all steel. They sent me four models one of which was their LE SBS with a PG stock and the others were defense models in 18" and 20" configurations. The guns fired everything we fed them buck, slugs, bean bags, chem rounds, bird shot, breaching rounds you name it. The guns were left dirty thrown around, drug threw the mud, snow and still worked. The fit and finish was very nice and I talked with their staff several times during the T&E, very nice folks. When I saw them at shotshow they asked about trying there new prototype, very nice group everything is made in the states. Pricewise they are a little steep, I don't see them edging out Mossberg or Remington any time soon but its a decent shotgun.

In regards to the Kel Tec RFB rifle, I have played with one briefly and put a few rounds through it. It balances pretty well, but takes some getting used to on the overall feel. I shot ten rounds off hand at 50 yds and was able to put the rounds within a Q target using a Trijicon tri power the guy had mounted. It seemed fairly well made considering other Kel Tec weapons I have played with.
It has that odd forward spent casing ejection, similiar to the FN2000, which may work fine, just not used to it. I'm not an expert on the weapon by any means, but it seems like an okay bullpup to play with if the price would come down.

I figured being US made the Ithaca would be a little steeper. I support US products though!

Yeah I do to, thats why I picked one up, depending on model its about $100 to $200 more than a comparable 870 or 500. They also have a custom shop and can do crazy wood work, logos, engraving, etc. They also are pushing their slug gun which they claim is a 200 yard accurate slug gun. Actually their claim is 4" groups at 200 yards.

Do they have any Semi-Autos?
My department is looking to switch from our 11-87 Remingtons.
Too many issues with finicky jamming. If you don't have the perfect weight rounds it becomes very unreliable.
