Guys we are trying to design a course from feedback of actual operators. To provide the most current updated info from you guys. If you have any ideas for courses or what you to see new guys trained in let us know. I would be over amongst you all still if my family life wasn't more important. But I love this work, I love our country and I love to train. So check it out. Give us feedback on what you guys want to see. Tell us what the new guys are lacking, and instead of attacking guys who are trying to build a quality training facility, give us some support.

Here is some more info on the upcoming course.

The High Threat Protection Operator course is a hand’s on, in-depth program that covers all aspects of PSD team operations in a high threat
environment. The program is divided into classroom work as well as field work and practical exercises. This course is instructed by current and former PSD operators who have had extensive operational time working in Africa, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Topics Covered:
• Organization of a PSD team• Protective security formations
• Arrivals and departures• Special situations• Immediate action drills
• Site advance and site surveys• Operational planning
• Counter assault teams• Duties and responsibilities of
detail members• International Law and
Legislation• Use of Deadly Force• Introduction to IED’s/EFP’s
• Foreign Weapons introduction• INDIG Operations
• GPS Familiarization• Box drills/Attack on Principal
drills• Venue Based Security• Motorcade operations• Down vehicles
• Debus drills• Introduction to armored vehicles• Contact drills at the venue• Contact drills- foot formations• Route planning & Selection
• Intelligence and assets• FTX- After action reviews
• Securing a LZ for MEDAVAC• Helicopter EVAC Training
• Attacks and Assassination attempts• PPCT• Vehicle Searches
• 12 to 24 hour Final Exercise

ABNDOC , why don't you offer a free class to one or two of the Moderators or S.A. personnel and then they can pass on their experience and thoughts onto the rest of us .

ABNDOC,

Here is your support.

You had better get a grip. If you think that the mild criticism you recieved here is an "attack"...you are trying to enter the wrong business. If you are serious about doing this thing, you are going to need much thicker skin.

You also had better come up with trainers that are well respected in the bizzness. Just because a guy has deployed to different theatres a couple of times does not mean that people are going to spend their money being trained by them.

Here are some constructive questions to start you off...

What is the asking price of the above mentioned course?

What qualifications do your instructors have? (Excluding the fact that they are verified shooters. Example: You state you will cover International Law and Legislation...is the instructor of this module an attorney? )

Who will be your on-site medical "go to" guy in the event I shoot myself or someone else while on the course? What are their qualifications? Do you plan to have full trauma gear on-site?

Whose vehicles will be used for drills? (Embuss, debuss, actions on, etc.) Am I responsible for damage to the vehicles if I roll one accidently?

I hope you are getting my point. There seem to be a lot of guys hanging up a shingle stating they are providing "quality" training these days. The fact that you deployed a few times does not make you qaulified to train others...

Let the buyer beware.

Old soldier 71,

I would be happy to answer any of your questions. Go on the website, shoot me an email, give me a call.

As far as you shooting yourself, if your lacking basic pistols and long gun skills and your not confident handling a weapon, we have a beginner course you may be interested in. But yes, we will have a full trauma kit, and medic on sight.

Have a great day.

Do me a favor, funny man. 6 months from today...check back into this thread and let us know how many people you have trained.

Being a douchebag and trying to sell a service rarely works.

Good luck.
