Post subject: Looking for suggestions on low profile plate carriers

Time to update my plate carrier, an original Blackhawk recon vest which has served me well.

I am looking for a low profile plate carrier. Normal wear and at times with a cover garment. I don't want the weeble look.

Any suggestions?

Condura makes a decent plate carrier (blackhawk replica/knock-off, look-a-like)) however you want to term it, for a decent price, Mil-Spec sewing, four colors to include multi-cam.

I can get you a price quote if you like?

I have a BAE/Eclipse RBAV but it is anything but low profile.

Would this work for you?

Diamondback Tactical has the best one I have seen so far. I use it everyday in Erbil.

I never wore any body armor in Erbil , great place to go out and get a nice sit down meal and relax .

Try the London Bridge Trading 6094A SLICK. Call London bridge and ask for a quote and, and to make sure your model of plates fit.

Here is a link to their "PSD" version of the 6094a SLICK to give you an idea of what it looks like, the non psd version comes in any color though. I think the difference is the PSD version is 500 denier and only comes in the grey color scheme.
