Working primarily within the Executive Protection and Event Security areas, this position is located in London and responsible for providing executive protection for company executives and providing enhanced event security. This position reports direct to the Regional Security Director and international travel is required.
Responsibilities
· Conduct security site advances for sites visited by company executives.
· Provide on-site security coverage at high profile public events hosted or attended by company executives.
· Provide executive protection.
· Work in partnership with Corporate Services in the planning and execution of events in the EMEA region.
· Conduct risk assessments for proposed events, determining which require Global Security support and providing scalable support that is proportionate to the risk or threat.
· Developing and maintaining liaison with local, national, and overseas law enforcement agencies.
· Developing and maintaining liaison with appropriate private security entities.
· Coordinating security logistics with external vendors for events on behalf of internal/external clients.
Experience
· Experienced in executive protection and operational familiarity of varying levels of security coverage proportionate to respective executive profile.
· Proven ability to operate with sound judgment under pressure.
· Experience of working in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment.
· Possess high level of diplomacy, integrity, and discretion.
· Display professional attitude and appearance at all times.
· Previous law enforcement, military or comparable experience.
· Possess good working knowledge of the EMEA region and understand of activities that may impede travel routes to/from events and/or sites.
· Experience of acting as interface between internal clients and security vendors.
· Experience of training delivery in the theory of close protection.
