Post subject: Re: Never Forget our D-Day and WWII Heroes

I went on a Band of Brothers marathon a few nights ago all in one shot. That's a great series and as far as I'm concerned should be shown in every high school. Not much gets me teary eyed, but especially listening to the old vets talk, or really anytime I hear the old WWII, Korea, or Vietnam vets talk it gets to me.

I think it's a combination of extreme humbling and knowing that these guys are in their twilight years and no one seems to care or truly realize that busts me up inside. Makes me wonder what OIF/OEF vets have to look forward to if guys that went through the meat-grinder everyday in WWII are being forgotten today....

God Bless our Nation's Veterans, young and old, living or at rest.
