Post subject: Re: CRI

Sorry guys...didnt mean to get off track...and DEFFINATELY didnt mean to step on any toes here. You have a point Jody. I never went to those schools, but I did work closely with some of those guys that went while in NOLA. They sat and compared training and shooting styles all freaking day. I guess Im speaking out of turn here.

I did go through Army infantry basic and was into jump school when my knee went. Since it was one station unit training and I dropped I dont claim any military experience. I try not to confuse my background and never know if I should mention it, or leave it out since I never really served. But I did get to experience the small arms instruction that was given.

I was however trying to prove the same point you made about rigid "standards" in training. I agree that you have to be able to adapt. Im not sure if CRI stresses that or not. It seemed that he was a little dead set on his view of the perfect stance. But like I said...He is Israeli trained and they do not vere far from the instruction they are given. A lot of schools assume you have no experience and are completely green so they try to give as little info as possible at first. Others assume you are a Spec Ops badass and will bombard you with as much as they can cram in you. Need to have a happy medium.

As for my big foot...I will work on removing that from my dental work today.
