I have an upcoming trip in june during my break. (Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket) How does this affect me?

Cheaper prices.....maybe some congestion around town, I wouldn't sweat it too much, hell if the baht keeps weakening I may buy another condo there...

This has been happening on and off for awhile, other than maybe some delays, I don't think you have much to worry about. I wouldn't wear anything that resembles anything either side of the protest would be wearing, but overall you should be good to go using some common sense.

I was there during last protest and had no problem.They aren't out to get us,just their government officials.They are still as friendly as can be.If you are American,just say you are from Canada.I never tell anyone I'm American that I don't know.Have fun bro and wear a rubber.....or 2. Smile

My buddy showed up two days before all the latest protests erupted. I haven't heard from him yet, but I'm sure he's fine. He's a Thailand guru.

I spend about 3 weeks every month in Bangkok, I just took off from there – no problems man, come and have fun
