|
Gents,
I am looking for a emt-I course (prefer in the midwest) I have looked around me (Detroit) and only found semester long ones. I am hoping to find something that isn't that long. Also, be a bonus if they take gi-bill or refundable afterwords with gi-bill.
Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe you would be interested in Pelham Training, in Bloomington Indiana. Not sure of the complete list of courses they offer, though.

One of my pals uses/recommends them. That's more than good enough for me.

I'm going to be calling them in the AM tomorrow. Last time I talked to them they was trying to get the I going but only had B and P.
Thanks,

Spongebob,
You may want to check out which of the states recognize EMT-I off of the NREMT website. (www.nremt.org) States that don't recognize the -I probably won't have courses for them. That should narrow down where you should be looking, at least.
I'm pretty sure that Pelham doesn't do the I; I did my refresher there a couple of years ago and they were only doing -Bs and -Ps.

Before you rush off and do your Intermediate, look at the changes to the Intermediate scope of practice.
In a nutshell, I's will be 'advanced' Basics andthe currentIntermediates in the field are being encouraged to upgrade to Paramedic. Might as well do the time and get your P
