Hey guys, I am looking to buy a med bag and would like some feedback if possible. I have the majority of the equipment, so just looking for a good bag. Have looked at many of the sites (tacticalmed, diamondbacktactical, ect.) and would like to hear from others before I buy. Also, I have been told that Maxpedition has good bags and they translate well to med stuff?? Any and all comments are helpful.

Hi, I use the Blackhawk STOMP2 , London Bridge also makes the same aid bag, code# LBT1562B, a lot of 18D are using this bag, it's jumpable, but it's not cheap.

I started out using the M-55 from TSSI (still have and use it), but my main pack is now the STOMP II...CTOMS has a forum section on medical packs at www.ctoms.ca

CAMedic, I am looking for something urban and basic. I will currently be using it to go out with Army Civil Affairs on missions in Kosovo as a civilian contractor. I am using this and opportunities at the EMT to gain actual experience while I work my way to another contract. Long story short, I want something that will fit everything that I would need, easily organizeable and with the ability to take to another contract.
Everyone, thanks for the input so far, I will be researching for a while so I can find something worthwhile, so please continue with the insights and ideas.

Don't get up in the trap of having to have the biggest, carry everything mindset. Take a critical look at your mission & the level of care you have to provide, how many folks you have to support, how long you will have to provide casualty care, and what is the wounding pattern likely in your AOR.
With all that being said the suggestions already posted are pretty good. If you are doing BLS care with a pretty quick turn over time look at the updated M-5 med kit form Tactical Tailor. OI used an old canvas model when I was in the 82nd Airborne and found it to be a good kit.
