Hi Mate

Hope you are getting well.... If you were injured whilst in country then the company must cover it with insurance .... any Uk based company (if they are a true entity will be insured to the hilt.) it is always the way that most companies try to duck out of the payment but stand firm and demand it ... they will fall into line when they see you are not backng away from it.... whatever you do ..... dont let this slip....
If you have sustained serious injuries (bearing in mind they might fuck you up in later life) report the injury via report to the ops manager and the headquarters staff.... also details of any witnesses etc.... obtain statements ... report to the military for inclusion in the industrial accident book or similar. Have everything documented by your doc .... keep the lot ....
!0 years from now you may not be able to work and this may be the recourse you need to be compensated for your disability.
I have advised many guys on these issues in the past.... I am not an ambulance chaser but we are from a cred that tend to shrug off injuries and crack on .... only to find that they bite us hard in the ass later !!!!!

Thanks for the advice...

Management said Monday they would have some answers for me..they seem to be dodging me so far....I directly asked them who their DBA insurance carrier is...and they claim they would have to find out and get back with me....

If this company is shirking your coverage...you need to make the name of that company public knowledge so that others can be warned.
