A few days ago I checked the BW website and they had a listing for hiring EMT-I and EMT-P and Tactical EMT's.

They like most are ALWAYS posting for medics. I find this to be whether they are actually hiring or not. Good luck.

State now requires all the companies bidding on a contract to submit a list of applicants for the positions with their proposals. Guess they want to make sure the company actually has people lined up to fill the spots if awarded the contract. Most of the sites today are recruiting for positions that will only be available if they are awarded the contract. I know because of sitting around for a year waiting for CPI to get a contract. Trouble is, they couldn't beat out DynCorp who underbids all their contracts and makes it up later by cutting materials/supplies and not filling positions. It is my understanding that the military folks are not overly impressed with Dyn so with them now running things in Afghanistan, perhaps some of the other companies might get contract awards. Time will tell.

If you could post the link that supports this claim, that would be helpful. Otherwise, it's just hearsay.

It's legit... that's why so many companies like to collect resumes.

If you sent them a CV, you gave them permission.
