Well, I have been to several classes now and I am starting to feel my age, LOLOL . the instructors are really good and it is an intensive class just what I like not a lot of Idle time. In case anyone is interested it's the Yama Kai-Jujutsu style.

Where does the style originate from. As a traditional karate student I am interested in where styles are from and their liniage, it is at times the only way one can make sure it is not some made up stuff. It is kind of funny,In that way martial arts is simular to doing contract work, so many masters of some made up crap, just like everyone I meet from blackwater is SF or a seal, then after a month you find out they were some loser in commo or some like that.

It ended with Tanaka Takeda and worked its way to Hawaii, where Icho ryu was started by Bernie Lau in Seattle Washington. Post your questions at www.yamakeiryu.com maybe we can get some discussions started on the new site..

Hey Frank... check out a fella named James Mitose and Kara-Ho Kenpo if you want some interesting reading.
You still where you were headed when we last saw one another?
