Are there any nitric oxide supplements that any of you recommend for running? What I'm taking works fairly well for me with weight lifting and situps, but is something like this more suited to exersizes that require less endurance than running? I am currently taking this stuff called Xceed, and it has di-arginine malate, creatine ethyl ester, glucuronolactone, and l-taurine.

The best way to increase your run is to run. Most supplements are a waste of money and used instead of hard work.

I would take salt peter (500mg) twice a day and do 10 jumpin jacks.
Seriously, the only thing for "endurance" on running, is doing it ALOT. I hate running, my legs, ankles, tanker's knees, and 210lb FRAME, HATE RUNNING. But I do it, and alot. Any pills you take will result in a hi-colonic which you may, or may not like.

I am gonna have to disagree with that I have seen favorable results using supplements such as vitamins, protien and amino powders including Creatine, you want to be real careful using creatine in high heat enviornments due to dehydration risks. I think they work, I also take NO2 which increases blood flow, and they should not be used in conjunction with weight loss items such as Hydroxycut or ephedra based products since they do the opposite of NO so you are defeating the purpose and playing hell with your system. More is not better and the effect should be determined prior to taking any supplements. I was able to drop my weight to 223 from 237 and drop 5" on my waist to 34-36 with the help of supplements, running 4 to 5 times a week, gym 5 times a week and low fat intake. I accomplished this in 3 months.

For those wondering, I'm taking Xceed as a tool rather than a crutch. Are there any NO supps that any of you think are better than Xceed?
Also Frank, for the hell of it, how tall are you?

Which amounts to hard work and self control. Creatine volumizes muscles by holding water, bad for hot environments and works against weight loss. I don't consider vitamins or protein powders as a crutch because eating right in some places in impossible. Working shifts made it impossible for me to eat correctly and protein powders and meal replacement powders helped, but it did not substitute hard work and discipline.
