actually the pays okey, the food is ,your not supposed to go home for leave just stay in france but all you had to do was go to the embassy and get a new passport and that was you, on your way home for a couple weeks...and yes its a hard enviroment and the training ....well iv had better but i suppose it depends whee you end up as you cant really choose what you wanna do,you can choose which unit you wanna go to if youve done well enough on the basic but once you get there they put you where they need the guys...hope this helps but if you really wanna join up do what i did flew to nice with fck all money spent it all on booze so i couldnt get home and then joined up...
