I have a friend who takes ephidrine, since they are selling it again. It does give good results, but there is a problem. Whe you take a urine test you will show hot for amphetamines for at least 24 hours since your previous dose. The dose was 25mg of commercially bought pills.

It should show hot with a presumptive test however when sent to a lab it would come back as ephdrine. This used to happen all the time with inmates in the jail. Cold medication containing psuedoephdrine do the same thing.

The other things is taking ephedrine in real hot weather can mess you up more than you realize. It will raise your core temp and with the outside heat can induce heat stroke. Every year someone drops dead from the mix.

We had lots of idiots pop ephedra like candy to stay awake. MAny of those got sick. So The military knee jerked and took it off the shelf. in hindsight, it was a good thing because these idiots were taking the wrong amount which could have killed them.
