Greetings all.

I am currently in Thailand interviewing all hands willing to talk to me and provide their input regarding a possible new venture.

I am currently in BKK, possibly headed out to the neach for a few days or so. I can travel to you if you aren't too far into the sticks.

Kindly contact me via PMwith your Thai mobile number.

After the responses I have received, I decided I should flesh out the posting a bit.

I am in Thailand. Full stop.

I am also talking to people about this industry.

Specifically, I am looking for people who are currently in-country to get their input regarding current issues and trends in the security contracting/EP world.

If there is an opportunity to make things easier/better for people with boots on the ground and make a few clams, I would put something together.

I'm now sick enough of listening to people piss and moan about the crappy support they get from the Home Office that I'm looking into fixing it.

I am available for most of March.

Can anyone give me a sitrep on BKK? Very little information is coming about the Red Shirt protests.

Sensationalism sells papers. Was in BKK until Friday night. Go back tomorrow.

Taxi on way to airport encountered 3 police checkpoints to prevent protesters from gathering. DUI roadblocks in the USA are more of a hassle than these gents.

Aside from noisy traffic when they drove by, it was business as usual. Simply avoid where they are gathering.

Word on the street is that they can beat each other up all they want, but if they harm a single tourist/farang businessman, all Hell will come down on them.

Anyone got any recommendations for things a married couple could do in Phuket?
Names of businesses, Prices, Contacts, etc. would be highly appreciated.
